I’ve been planning this Bibbulmun Track hike for over two years and as I start getting close to the start time I have been taking advantage of the regular sales on offer from both the outdoor stores as well as the general retail stores. For a number of months I have been doing my research into what I needed and having made my wish list it was just a matter of keeping an eye on the stores.
This week the end of financial year sales that I have been waiting for kicked in so it was time to make the electronic purchases. I managed to snare a new camera and power pack as well as some other bibs and bobs.
Unfortunately I only recently discovered that my 6 year old IPad Mini doesn’t like my podcasting software and while I could use my iPhone-8 ‘big fingers, little phone, and less than perfect eyesight’ don’t go well together so I’m up for a new iPad before my trip 🙁
