And I’m off!
After more than two years of planning and its time! Once I arrived in Albany and checked into my accomodation I walked down to the nearby trail head and walked the first 50 meters of the track which also happened to be adjacent to the IGA supermarket. What can I say? I like to know where I’m going! I spent a little time wandering around town and after having pizza for dinner headed back to my room to set up my pack.
I had just on seven hours of sleep which is really good for me and was woken up by the forecast heavy rain and while it hasn’t totally gone, it appears to have abaited and while more is forecast, the radar is showing clear periods.
I’ll be posting on a daily basis, or at least as far as phone/data signal allows and will try to stick to my Wednesday podcast episode release schedule as best as I can although on some weeks I am likely to upload late depending on where I happen to be. Follow me on Facebook and listen to the podcast to hear how I’m going. I’m happy to answer questions as I can but my response time may be a bit erratic.
