2026 Great South West Walk
Late start by my standards and by the time I finish this post and start hiking the 15km to Cut Out Camp, it will be after 8:30am.
Good day yesterday but I realised that it was the longest day post my operation I had done and also with the heaviest pack I have carried for a couple of years. Physically tired but the body held up well.
Good mix of walking yesterday. Even when I was walking along the edge of the road, the track builders had allowed a bit of distance away from the cars in most cases.
Went to bed around 6:12pm last night and as usual had lots of visitors throughout the night including a heavy breather that came to check me out!
Cubby’s Camp is well maintained and in a nice location but I didn’t realise until this morning that I am close to farmland with the cows mooing in the background.
Off I go!
