Sea to Summit Frontier Collapsable Cup Review
A few years ago Sea to Summit released the X-Mug and X-Cup, and then the Cool Grip range which had heat fins to minimise heat on the hands. This Frontier Collapsable Cup is the latest in the compact foldable cup range and also forms part of the larger Frontier range designed for lightweight hiking and camping needs.
This cup is constructed to collapse to a flat disc and while Sea to Summit say that it can fit into a pocket (and it can) its not something that we are ever likely to do preferring to throw it into our packs or keep it in the car for when we want a drink.
This cup is a good capacity at 400ml but if you have small hands you’ll are likely to need a two-handed grip.
Consistent with previous versions of the Sea to Summit collapsable cups/mugs this version is made from BPA-free, food-grade silicone, with nylon rings to maintain shape and shield fingertips from heat. In addition the bottom of the cup is also a lightweight ridged plastic
This cup comes in four colours; Yellow, White, Puffins Bill (orange) and Aqua Sea. It appears that retailers are selling particular colours so if you are after a specific colour you may need to shop around.
Price wise this cup sells for AUD $19.99 RRP and is a great option for a drinking vessel and will fit in nicely with other items within the frontier range.

- Be careful you don’t grip too tightly as you may spill your drink
- This cup may be a bit large for use with a single hand if you have small hands
