Real Meals Chocolate Cake Pudding Review
The Real Meals Chocolate Cake Pudding is the second dessert we have tasted from the Real Meals range and straight up this has now become my favourite desert, it’s that good. I mean a chocolate cake pudding what can be better than that!
Taste test wise here’s how it went:

From the first bite of this dessert all I could think of was is good enough to knock off my favourite outdoor dessert? The short answer is yes. A warm sweet, dessert that combines chocolate pudding and chocolate cake all one, its that good!
She said:
Oh my goodness – this is exactly what it says on the label – chocolate, cake and pudding. It is moreish to the extreme. Great to share with your favourite person or better still, keep it yourself!
Water wise you only need to add 100 ml of boiling water, stir and wait 10 minutes – this amount of water was spot-on providing that slightly gelatinous pudding consistency. Surprising enough this single serve packet contains 438 mg of sodium which is considered high on the salt scale but I couldn’t taste it.
The only negative for this meal is that as freeze dried desserts go it’s on the higher end price wise, coming in at AUD $19.99 RRP. While Gill and I shared this dessert I could have quite easily eaten the whole thing by myself and still wanted more. Having said that this is going to be a dessert that I will choose first on those nights I want something sweet to finish off the meal. I still have one more dessert to try out from Real Meals they are two for two so far and both meals will go into my top five desserts in the coming when I update the list.
If you are into desserts on your hiking adventures then definitely consider this one!
