For most hikers feeding themselves on short camping and hiking trips, even for a few days, is something that we can easily manage without too much problem. But what happens when we undertake big excursions ranging from strenuous single day trips to multi-week trips. In this podcast episode I talk with Canberra based nutritionist and dietician, Lisa Donaldson from FEED Inc about nutrition on the trail and what we can do to look after ourselves.
In her interview Lisa has very generously offered to respond to ‘ one liner’ questions from our listeners regarding nutrition and diet based questions. Remember to keep the questions short and simple. Lisa and the team can be contacted via email or trough their website.
Lisa and her team also do Skype based consultations so if you aren’t Canberra based the Feed inc team can still help you!

What is a Podcast?
While many people are familiar with podcasts, to some the term is still an unknown. So what is a podcast? The best way to think of a podcast is as digital radio on demand. You get to listen to a program of your choice, at a time of your choosing, and through your preferred technology e.g. the computer, a smart phone, or a tablet, etc.
Podcasts have the advantage over other types of media in that you can be doing other activities such as driving to work or exercising while you listen.
