Our final episodes in our Kangaroo Island Wilderness Trail series. In this episode we revisit our initial expectations of this trip and compare them to the reality of the trail. In addition we  discuss the good and bad points of the trail and make some suggestions for those of you looking at doing this trip.

Transfers

• Transfers appear to be an issue (February 2024) so the best option may be to take your car to the island to make the 110km trip from the ferry to the trail head and back again

Western KI Caravan Park

• Pack transfer from campsite to campsite (just carry a day pack)
• Hiker transfer from the caravan park to the trail head each day if you want to stay in the Caravan park (walk the trail with a daypack but stay in the comfort of a caravan park)
