Peak Bagging

Jargon

Definition

Peak bagging is an activity in which hikers attempt to reach the summits of a collection of peaks. This may be because they are the tallest peaks in a particular area, state or country, the tallest peaks in the particular area, or they are just ticking off peaks because they’re there. Having a reason like peak bagging helps people to get out and hike.
