Day Pack

Jargon

Definition

A day pack is typically a backpack that is typically used for shorter hikes, in most cases a day or less in duration and is designed to carry the essentials that you need for your shorter adventure.

Day packs are often quite wide ranging in size ranging fromĀ 18-50 litres in capacity but if the weather conditions are good and the hiker is experienced the larger of these packs can be used for overnight and even multiway adventures.
