  2. Hydration – extra water
  3. Nutrition – extra food
  4. Sun protection – sunglasses, sunscreen, head protection
  5. Light – headlamp/flashlight
  6. Navigation – map and compass
  7. Fire – waterproof matches/lighter/candle
  8. Emergency shelter
  9. Insulation – extra clothing
  10. Repair kit and tools
