Bushbash/Bushwack

Jargon

Definition

To hike off trail, especially through underbrush. Usually done when lost,  in areas where no established trails exist, or when trail haven’t been maintained and are  over grown. Always follow established pathways when present however in areas where there is no trails care should be taken to limit damage to the environment, your gear and yourselves. Also know as Bushwacking.

This trail is heavily overgrown requiring the hiker to push though the undergrowth
