When I’m travelling I like to keep all my valuable bit and pieces such as my phone, glasses, cash and cards in one easy to find and safe location. While there are any number of bags or packs available I could choose I’ve been using the Sea to Summit See Pouch for around five years now. I purchased this pouch for our 2016 Larapinta Trail trip having spotted it in the local outdoor store during some last minute purchases.
The thing that first drew me to this little pouch was the clear side that allows me to see what’s there without having to open it. Ever had one of those times when you think you put something in a particular location and you end up up-ending the bag to find it or discover its somewhere else!
This pouch has a coloured side, in my case Berry, as well as transparent PVC side for visibility. Typically with many PVC style pouches they don’t tend to last very well, often disintegrating after a year or two. But as mentioned my five year old See Pouch looks almost new and is showing no signs of perishing. The images below from Sea to Summit show this bag in use as a makeup style bag but really you can store anything you like in this pack.
In addition, this pouch is water resistant and while I wouldn’t want to submerge it, it will keep your valuables protected from all but the wettest and dirtiest environments.
